The morning line has this horse at 4-1. I highly doubt you will get that price as the morning line is a lost art form, but if you get 4-1 or better take it. 25% winning trainer 28% winning jock and the horse has been steadily improving since moving to the D'amato barn and has proven he can win a Graded event without lasix. Lets just hope he didn't peak in the Elkhorn where oh by the way he beat CHANNEL CAT.
2nd #6 WHISPER NOT
Euro shipper that has rounded into form and has also won a graded event without lasix.The horse has been having monster works. The problem I have is that Baltas Has a horrible record and ROI in Graded Stakes. Don't like him in the top spot but is 80% to run in the top 4.

Very intriguing horse here. A 1.8 million dollar earner that has run against much tougher fields than this. He hasn't won a race since November of 2019 however he is 8 out of 12 in the money at Santa Anita and this is a drop in class for him. The problem is that the horse has shown nothing without Lasix. He is part of an uncoupled entry from the Baltas barn.???? Hmmmmm. Is the step down in class enough. I say maybe at a price. Does Baltas shock everyone and run one two or does he lay an egg?
4th #2 SMOOTH LIKE STRAIT
RUN. I don't care if this horse wins by 10 lengths 4-5 is ridiculous. I do think he will go off higher but don't be tempted. He has shown no endurance without lasix and until he wins I will pass in the top spot. However he is probably 90% to run in the top 4. But if he runs out the Exotic bettors will be very happy. Mccarthy is a great Turf trainer and his barn has had the "Right Stuff" lately??????
